    About

    Mindi Fox, promoted to Executive Director, RHI Foundation joined the RHI Foundation team in 2011 as Foundation Coordinator. In this role, Mindi was responsible for assisting the foundation director in meeting RHI fundraising goals through identifying and cultivating new donor prospects, coordinating foundation annual mail solicitation activities, and acknowledging new gifts.  In 2015, Mindi was promoted as Associate Director to the RHI Foundation, where she continued to advance RHI and RHI Foundation through community, professional and educational networking opportunities.  As Executive Director, Mindi will provide continued strategic and tactical direction for RHI Foundation, effectively support and assist the Foundation’s Board of Directors, and committees.  Mindi previously worked at RHI as an Exercise Physiologist, received her BS from Indiana University, Bloomington, and is a Cancer Exercise Specialist.

    About

    Born and raised in Southern California, Jeanine spent 15 years working for the Walt Disney Company in a leadership role and is a Disney University Alum. She moved to Indianapolis in 2000. In 2001 the company she worked for in Indianapolis became a vendor at RHI and she worked on-site for three years. It was during those years that she learned and became part of RHI’s culture. She started volunteering yearly at the adaptive water ski clinic held in Cicero, Indiana and in January 2017 became an actual RHI associate working in the Foundation and now helps organize the water ski clinic and raise funds to further the mission of RHI.

    About

    Karen graduated from Indiana University In 1998 with a Bachelors of Arts in Therapeutic Recreation and a Minor in Psychology. Karen has spent much of her career working as a Recreational Therapist at the Rehabilitation Hospital of Indiana working primarily with spinal cord injury, TBI, and Stroke patients. During this time, Karen has been active with The RHI Sports Program as a volunteer with clinics. In 2017, Karen joined The RHI Sports Program part-time working as the Coordinator of the program focusing on development of clinics and community fitness classes. In November of 2019, Karen accepted the position of Director of The RHI Sports Program.

    About

    Sharon graduated from Western Michigan University in 1993 with a Bachelor's degree in Music Therapy. She practiced Music Therapy in rehab, psychiatric, home, and school settings and was certified in the state of Illinois as an Early Intervention Specialist. Sharon returned to Michigan in 2003 and supervised Music Therapy students in their practicums at Western Michigan University. She Spent four years working in a school district in the Grand Rapids, Michigan area. In 2009, Sharon moved to Buffalo, New York and worked in the Community Groups ministry of a mutli-site church and led the ministry for the last three years of her tenure at the church. In that role, she oversaw 165 volunteers leading 1,000 people involved in the ministry and worked on curriculum development and training. She moved to Indianapolis in July 2019 and began working at RHI as the Foundation Support Specialist.

    Andy has extensive experience in assisting small businesses and individuals with their tax, accounting, and operational needs. Andy’s experience includes a broad range of industries with emphasis on real estate, health care, restaurants and bars, financing methods and techniques, and estate and trust planning. Andy graduated from Ball State University in 1991 with a Bachelor of Science in Accounting and was a member of Beta Alpha Psi, a professional accountancy fraternity. He has worked in public accounting since that time. Andy’s career has included working for local accounting firms. This experience has provided Andy with the opportunity to work with numerous small businesses in many difference industries and has allowed him to understand the challenges that owners have to face. It has also provided Andy the chance to work with many individuals in unique situations and assist them with navigating the many changes that have occurred during these turbulent financial times. In 2010, Andy left his position as Principle of a large local firm to start his own practice. His belief that good service should be provided at a fair value has helped his practice grow rapidly.

    About

    Bill is a partner with Wilson Kehoe & Winingham LLC, a personal injury law firm very familiar with RHI. Bill represents persons injured in accidents such as truck and auto collisions, dangerous and defective products, fires and explosions, and medical malpractice. He concentrates his practice on brain injury and spinal cord injury cases, burn injuries, and wrongful death. Bill became familiar with RHI as many of his clients were treated at RHI, and he decided to support the RHI Foundation by becoming a Board member. Bill is an advocate for injured individuals and he and his firm are major supporters of the Dr. Lisa Thompson Center for Family Education at RHI. He and his wife Maureen have four children. Bill has been honored in the past as the Trial Lawyer of the Year by the Indiana Trial Lawyers Association, and has been named a Top Ten Indiana Super Lawyer for the last five years in a row. He was recently recognized as the 2019 Indiana Product Liability Lawyer of the Year by the publication Best Lawyers in America.

    Patty is a partner at Barnes & Thornburg LLP and a member of the firm’s Labor & Employment Law Department, representing management interests for a very broad client base. Prior to joining Barnes & Thornburg LLP, Ms. Ogden was a practicing registered nurse working most recently in the research and transplant area. She has also worked in Coronary Care, Neonatal ICU, and she was the nurse manager of a large medical unit. Given her background as an R.N., Ms. Ogden participates in symposiums for health care providers and she advises clients and other HR personnel on employment and healthcare-related topics, such as the FMLA, ADA, and worker’s compensation issues. Ms. Ogden earned a B.S.N. from Ball State University in 1990, and her J.D. summa cum laude in 1996 from the I.U. Robert McKinney School of Law. Ms. Ogden is a member of the American Bar Association. Patty knows the devastating outcomes that brain injuries, spinal cord injuries, strokes, and other medical conditions like Parkinson’s disease have on patients and families and she has seen the profound effect that the RHI family has on patients’ lives and functional capabilities.

    Anthony is a Financial Advisor for Merrill Lynch. In 2010, Anthony was in a serious motorcycle accident where he suffered severe burns. As a result of his accident, he spent a total of 52 days in the hospital. The latter half of the time in the hospital was spent at RHI where he received such an excellent level of care that it inspired him to become involved. Anthony joined the RHI Foundation board in 2018 to commit to helping ensure others have the same positive experience that he had. Prior to joining Merrill Lynch, Anthony has owned two businesses and worked as an Engineer. Anthony received his B.S. in Mechanical Engineering in 2010, and his Master’s in Business Administration (M.B.A.) with a concentration in Finance in 2015.

    Larry is an Indianapolis native and a Butler University alumni, graduating in 1978 with his Bachelor’s degree. He has been married for 40 years to Jinger, an Occupational Therapist with a Master’s degree. Larry has three adult children, Scott, Andrea, and Jana and each of them work in a healthcare related field. Larry has been the Chairman of the RHI Foundation Board since 2016 and has been a member of the board since 2010. He is the former Chairman of Rock Steady Boxing board of Directors. He is a former board member of the American Business Club and of the Ronald McDonald House in Indianapolis, Indiana. Larry was a member of the Risk Management Committee for Super Bowl XLVI, hosted by Indianapolis. Several of his friends and family members have been patients at RHI. Larry is the owner of SkyView Partners, an insurance and financial services firm. He has over 38 years as a professional in this field.

    Daniel B. Woloszyn, Psy.D., H.F.A., CDP joined RHI as Chief Executive Officer in February of 2012. Dr. Woloszyn comes to RHI from Van Matre HealthSouth Rehabilitation Hospital in Rockford, Illinois, where he served as the Chief Executive Officer since 2003. He has been active in Washington, D.C. advocating for post acute rehabilitation services legislation, and providing consultative work around rehabilitation medicine in hospital systems across the United States. From 1992 to 2002, Dr. Woloszyn served as the Clinical Chief and Manager of Rehabilitation Psychology and Neuropsychology at Rockford Memorial Hospital’s Van Matre Rehabilitation Center. During this time, he also worked as Director of Therapy Operations and neuropsychological consultant in Forensic Psychiatry in Chicago. Relevant to RHI, he has 20 years of extensive clinical background as a Clinical Neuropsychologist with a focus on brain injury and other neurologic conditions. He also has conducted research in the areas of stroke and has been a frequent speaker on the areas of brain injury and hospital operations and leadership. Dan is married with two children.

    Layton is the Founder and President of LJI Wealth Management. He is a CFP®, oversees the Investments division and is the Principal Manager of the Mortgage division. Originally from Auburn, Indiana, Layton graduated from the Indiana University Kelley School of Business in May of 1994 with majors in both Accounting and Finance. Layton founded LJI Wealth Management in June of 2007. Layton is a member of the Financial Planning Association. He is also a licensed Principal Manager and Mortgage Broker. He and his wife, Ann, live in Pendleton along with their 3 young children. He enjoys golf, water-skiing and spending time with his family. Layton has been instrumental in raising funds for the Dr. Lisa Thompson Center for Family Education at RHI.

    Jerry Arthur graduated with a Bachelor of Science, Industrial Management from Purdue University in 1972. He worked several years at Eli Lilly and after leaving began at Cook Medical where he started two pharmaceutical manufacturing companies and after serving as President of those companies he started Grand River Aseptic Mfg, in Michigan and served as Chairman of the Board and CEO before retiring in 2017. Jerry has served in several community organizations including the board of directors of Witham Hospital Foundation, member of the Executive Service Corps, member and past President of the Zionsville Optimists Club, little league soccer and baseball coach, and organized a volunteer effort to re-brick Main Street in Zionsville, Indiana.

    Scott previously served as Chairman of the RHI Foundation Board of Directors. He is president of Grocers Supply in Indianapolis. Scott began his career in the state and local tax business in 1982. In 1991 he founded Innovative Consulting Service in Indianapolis which quickly grew to one of the largest regional firms. He has hands-on experience with workouts and turnarounds. In addition, Scott has overseen the start-up of many successful businesses and has successfully steered many companies through startup to exit. His past community involvement has included the Indiana Blood Bank, Board of Trustees, The American Heart Association, Gleaners Food Bank, Indianapolis ZOO, Red Cross, and the Indiana Mental Health Association.

    Doug Brown is managing principal of Bose Public Affairs Group. He assists clients in their legislative and executive branch lobbying needs. He has experience in governmental relations at the local, state and federal levels. Among the types of clients Doug represents are domestic and international businesses, regulated industries, gaming and horse racing entities, real estate businesses, financing companies, and municipalities. Doug also is a partner with Bose McKinney & Evans and an active member of the firm’s Governmental Services Group and Business Services Group. He assists businesses in various sectors, including mortgage lending, software, manufacturing, motorsports, real estate development, gaming and horse racing, with a variety of legal issues, including business transactions, disputes, financing, and daily strategic and operational matters. Doug has been personally impacted by RHI. Several family members and friends in the motorsports industry have been treated at RHI. This has allowed him to witness firsthand the healing impact the organization has on patients and their families.
